I wanted to know how to change the header image that shows, “YourSiteName.com” I wanted to know if we can upload our own logo. If we chose to have this done for us what is the cost?

First of all, thank you for choosing the REIhomesales Investor WordPress Theme! Make sure to subscribe to the mailing list to get informed when we make updates. We have some really great add-ons coming soon.

Inside your WordPress login’s appearance menu (on the left hand side of the Admin screen), you will see a link named “Custom Header Image”. Click that and it takes you to a page that will allow you to upload a custom header image. For best results, make your header image 975×100 pixels and make the background color #231F20. If you need me to make one for you let me know and I will contact you with the details. I would probably only charge around $10 if there were no issues with your logo files. If you don’t have a logo and you just want text up there in the same font we used on the sample, I can make that for $10 too.

I just realized that I described how to upload the header image on our other theme. To change the logo on the Homebuyer theme, you simply replace the file named “logo.png” in the theme’s images folder. /wp-content/themes/REIcreator_Homebuyer_1.0/images/logo.png.

There is a another file inside the image folder called “logo_blank.png”. Open it with photoshop or any image editor, add your logo or company name, and save it as “logo.png”. Upload that file to your server via FTP and overwrite the old default one.

Sorry about the confusion. I highly recommend using the Investor Theme. It has a lot more under the hood than the Homebuyer one.
